For some Monday means a new beginning, for the participants in «European Youth Mobility Academy» it was an end… /
From 9th till 16th of September the training course «European Youth Mobility Academy» brought together 33 participants from more than 8 countries 🇪🇪🇩🇰🇮🇹🇱🇻🇱🇹🇪🇸🇵🇹🇲🇰
The training course was developed under the 🇪🇺 Erasmus+ programme and it was hosted by Klaipėdos jaunimo organizacijų asociacija «Apskritasis stalas» in the welcoming Mokymų centras «Daugirdiškės», Lithuania.
During one week the participants in «European Youth Mobility Academy» were improving their project development and management competencies and were learning more and more about the Erasmus+ opportunities. They had the opportunity to develop their own European mobility project (8 new ideas were born!) and after they received valuable feedback from experts.
The youth workers were provided also knowledge how to use youth mobility projects to promote the European values of freedom, tolerance and respect of universal human rights and how to involve young people in such kind of initiatives.
The participants also got to know the initiative European Youth Capital and received precious information about good practices from Klaipeda: the Lithuanian town that was chosen to be the European Youth Capital in 2021. Through the European Youth Capital 2021 title, Klaipėda wants to become open, e-solutions based city, in order to create opportunities for all youth to grow, live, work, share, implement ideas, exchange, break the standards and innovate in the city.
But not only new projects and ideas were born. It was created also a great intercultural environment….new partnerships were born and in one of the nights…we even built a bonfire! 🔥🔥🔥
Our team is really happy that we have the chance to be part of this experience. We hope that very soon you will hear that some of our projects born in Lithuania are turning into reality
